Features
Alerts
Invyra can notify you by email when stock runs low or products are close to expiring — so you can act before it becomes a problem.
Setting up low-stock alerts
Go to Settings → Alerts in the sidebar.
Click "Add Alert Rule" and choose "Low Stock".
Set your threshold — Invyra will alert you when any item drops below this quantity. You can set a global threshold or per-item thresholds.
Choose how to be notified: Email (recommended), or in-app notification.
Click "Save". Alerts run automatically every hour.
Expiry alerts
For perishable items, set an expiry date when adding or editing an item. Then go to Settings → Alerts and add an "Expiring Soon" rule.
You can choose how far in advance to be notified — e.g. 7 days before expiry, 3 days before, or on the expiry date itself.
Per-item thresholds
You can override the global threshold for individual items. Open an item from the Inventory page, edit it, and set a custom "Low Stock Threshold". This takes priority over the global setting.
What alert emails look like
- Subject clearly states which product is affected
- Shows current quantity vs threshold
- Includes a direct link to the item in your dashboard
- Grouped — if 5 items are low, you get one email, not five
