Inventory

The Inventory page is where you manage all your products, track stock levels, and make adjustments. Every item has a real-time quantity that updates as orders come in.

Adding items

Go to Inventory → Add Item. Fill in the following fields:

NameThe product name shown across the dashboard.
SKUUnique identifier for the product. Used for syncing with Shopify and Square.
QuantityCurrent stock on hand.
Unit CostWhat you paid per unit. Used for profit calculations.
Selling PriceWhat you charge customers. Optional but recommended for analytics.
CategoryGroup products for easier filtering and reporting.
Low Stock ThresholdInvyra will alert you when quantity drops below this number.
Expiry DateOptional. Set for perishable goods — Invyra will warn you before expiry.

Bulk import via CSV

If you have many products, use the CSV import tool. Go to Settings → Import and download the template. Fill it in and upload — Invyra will create all items at once.

The CSV template includes all required columns with examples. Don't change the column headers or the import will fail.

Adjusting stock

Click any item in the inventory list to open its detail panel. From there you can:

  • Add stock (received a new shipment)
  • Remove stock (damaged, lost, or returned goods)
  • Edit item details (price, SKU, category)
  • View the full adjustment history for that item
  • Delete the item (this cannot be undone)

Filtering and search

Use the search bar at the top of the Inventory page to find items by name or SKU. Filter by category or stock status (In Stock, Low Stock, Out of Stock) using the filter buttons.
